Over the past few weeks we have been completing the "One Word Film" assignment. The instructions were to take the word assigned to you, and make a 1-1.5 minute video using your word as the theme. The catch was there was no dialogue allowed. To make your video intriguing, you would have to use different kinds of shots and angles.
The word me and my partner Brady were assigned was: bored.
During the brainstorming, we decided to come up with as many different ways a student could express boredom during class. We really wanted to capture the different looks and thoughts the student was portraying. Here is a picture of our brainstorming sheet:
The storyboard was used to help sort of plan out how we wanted our shots to go. It was vital towards having a quick and easy filming process.
I completed my editing process on Imovie, as I have edited on there before.
I think we did an excellent job in capturing the emotions and feelings of the student surrounding our assigned word. However, I think next time we should try to incorporate more captivating shots to entice the audience.
